Story

Another anaerobic natural from Sidama, using cherry from some of our most outstanding community farmers.

This wet-anaerobic process was a first for us – we wanted to experiment and learn more about fermentation, so we saved the coffee juice from Lot 25.01 and added it to the anaerobic stage of this lot.

It delivered a different profile with delicious results!

Transforming communities

We are honored to work with local chiefs, community leaders, and smallholder farmers to grow and source our spectacular Bette Buna coffees. At our farms in Taferi Kela Sidamo and Guji Megadu we work closely with our family and neighbors to grow seedlings, rewild coffee forests, and train farmers in methods of growing and processing that create opportunities for everyone in our community.

Our green coffee lots, ready to roast.
